Wheat from the chaff

We've had 'The Crown Jewels' (condoms), sick-bags and uniquely adorned pizza. In amongst this plethora of Royal Wedding tat there is some commemorative quality.

Obviously I couldn't let the occasion pass without a quick look at the Limited Edition Royal Ale brewed by Titanic, in association with Wade.

Only 150 bottles have been produced by two Stoke-on-Trent institutions - of what is - a beautiful piece of pottery.

Locally, we have a long history of showing the rest of the world how to make fitting tributes for Royal occasions and this certainly maintains that proud tradition.

As for the contents of the ceramic bottle, well we know it is a meaty 5.9%, other than that, we have to wait until the promised draught version arrives! Titanic will not disappoint I'm sure
